My name is Laura Pennington. Welcome to my blog! I’m sure many of you are familiar with Pinterest — well, I LOVE Pinterest, and all the wonderful ideas you can get on there. This blog is just my experiences trying out these different ideas and manipulating them to make them my own (recipes, crafts, fashion, fitness, musings on random pins…the list goes on and on!!).
I am a complete health nut, so many of the recipes I see on Pinterest, I will change up a bit to make them healthier and to accommodate different food sensitivities. If you have food sensitivities, then a lot of these recipes will be great for you! Food can be extremely healing, and I make all of my recipes with the goal of improving my health.
Along with food, I am also a HUGE advocate of eliminating as many toxins as possible in and around my environment, so I will be posting about natural cleaning alternatives, as well as homemade natural beauty products. What we put on our body or breath in on a daily basis is just as important as what we feed ourselves when it comes to overall health.
I’m also an avid runner and have been for a little over 20 years, so a lot of my posts about fitness are going to be geared towards running. I’m excited to try some of the ideas I see on Pinterest and let you all know if they are actually useful!
I love doing crafts and being creative, and I also love making up my own recipes quite often! So, you can also expect some original ideas of mine that will make great pins to go on Pinterest as well!
