Delicious and Healthy Homemade Green Dressing

green dressing Okay normally, I wouldn’t post on just a dressing, but THIS DRESSING!!!  It’s just…I can’t even…when I…*passes out*!  Yeah, that’s a bit dramatic, but it’s seriously SO good!  I made this stuff the other day to top some stuffed baked sweet potatoes, and I was so impressed by it that I knew I had to give it a post of it’s own!  It is DELICIOUS!  Whatever the strongest word is for yummy, that’s what this dressing is! It’s really east to throw together, and it’s incredibly versatile!  You can use it as a topping on so many different things, and it just puts the dish together perfectly!  So, without further ado, here is the recipe for this yum fest! GREEN DRESSING Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3-4 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped chives
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 2/3 cups chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion

Directions 1.) Mash the avocado, and add the garlic powder, olive oil, water, lemon  juice, apple cider vinegar, and sea salt.  Stir with a fork till smooth. green dressing2 2.) Add the chopped chives, parsley, basil and green onion.  Mix well. green dressing3   This is a must try, guys!  Enjoy! 🙂

  1. I just made this for dinner tonight, served it on top of zoodles (zucchini noodles) and mild Italian sausage. Dinner was ready in 5 and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
